To make sure everyone has the best time possible, we need to let you know a few terms & conditions of travelling with Jump. GENERAL We reserve the right to alter the order or inclusions of itineraries for operational and safety reasons. WALKS Our tours are wilderness based adventure tours and involve some hiking to get to the best spots. They are suitable for people with a reasonable level of fitness. CLIMATE Tasmania is a wild place and weather conditions can change quickly at any time of year. We visit the same places come rain, hail or shine, so we recommend that guests bring clothing and footwear suitable for warm, cold or wet conditions. LUGGAGE If you join and leave the tour in the same city we ask that you make use of hostel storage facilities where possible and bring only those items you will require on tour. In any case please limit your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in the trailer plus a small day pack to take on board. EATING ARRANGEMENTS Jump Tours operates self catering tours, food is not included in any of our tours prices. Guests are free to make use of supermarkets and other food providers such as restaurants and take aways while on tour. Time is allocated on all tours for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All of our regular accommodation offers cooking and eating facilities. CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER Jump Tours charges fees for cancellations depending on the time left before departure: 30 Days - 14 days before departure: 25% of tour price. 13 days - 48hrs before departure: 50% of tour price. Within 48hrs or no shows: 100% of tour price. If Jump Tours permits a date change on a booking which is later cancelled, the original departure date will apply for the purpose of calculating any refund. INSURANCE Travel insurance is NOT included. We strongly recommend that passengers have their own travel insurance against illness, injury, loss/damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed departure date. LIABILITY We make every effort to safeguard our clients, however we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or sickness to any customer or damage or loss of property due to events which are beyond our control. ALTERNATIVE TOUR OPERATOR In the event that Jump Tours is unable to operate a scheduled tour for any reason, we reserve the right to book you on an alternative tour of equal standard. REFUSAL OF CARRIAGE Jump Tours is not a common carrier and can therefore refuse to carry a person whose behaviour is detrimental to the enjoyment of the group. By travelling with Jump Tours, you agree to accept the authority of the guide and accept their decisions. Our staff are entitled to a safe working environment and our passengers to a great holiday. Jump Tours reserves the right to refuse or discontinue carriage of any passenger who is disruptive, abusive, violent, makes verbal or physical threats or engages in illegal behaviour. If a guide requires a passenger to leave the tour no refunds will be given and that passenger will be responsible for their own travel costs from that point.
